Jonathan R. Zeko Principal

Jonathan R. Zeko graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1989. Before law school, Mr. Zeko earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1985. Mr. Zeko has practiced in California since his admission to the State Bar in 1989, and has appeared in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. He is the recipient of the prestigious AV®-Preeminent™ rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

A principal of GRANT & ZEKO, APC, Mr. Zeko primarily practices civil litigation. He represents clients in business, real estate, commercial, corporate, and collection matters. He also acts as special counsel in marital dissolution cases, providing support for cases involving ownership of family businesses and corporate control issues.

Mr. Zeko advises his clients in pre-litigation matters, as well as transactional matters. His litigation practice makes extensive use of provisional remedies such as attachment, receivers, claim, and delivery to secure his clients' rights before trial. In addition to the traditional elements of law practice, Mr. Zeko represents his clients' interests through investigation of opposing parties to discover hidden assets or fraudulently transferred assets . Mr. Zeko lectures to other lawyers, most recently in the following programs: Skip Tracing in California; Successful Judgment Collections In California; and, Collection Law from Start to Finish.

Mr. Zeko resides in San Diego with his wife and two children. His hobbies include guitar playing and collecting.
